Which means something falling under the influence only of gravity.

Here is the emailed calculation. I suppose everything of import can be extracted from this (where do I enter notes?):

Fall Time

Variables

Height = 100.000000 m
Minimum value = 0.000000
Maximum value = 10000.000000
Prefix =
Suffix = m
Display to 1 decimal places

Up Speed = 0.000000 m/s
Minimum value = 0.000000
Maximum value = 100.000000
Prefix =
Suffix = m/s
Display to 2 decimal places
Results

Time = 4.517540 s
Prefix =
Suffix = s
Display to 2 decimal places
Formula = (sqrt((Up Speed*Up Speed)+Height*2*9.8)+Up Speed)/9.8

Max Height = 100.000000 m
Prefix =
Suffix = m
Display to 2 decimal places
Formula = Height+((Up Speed*Up Speed)/(2*9.8))

Hit Speed = 44.271887 m/s
Prefix =
Suffix = m/s
Display to 2 decimal places
Formula = sqrt(Max Height*2*9.8)

To enter/change the notes associated with a calculation go into edit mode and tap on the calculations name. You can also enter notes immediately when a calculation is created.
