Hello -

My apologies if this has already been said. I've gone through the posts here and I think some of it might have been, but I'd like to add my own twist if I may.

I'll say right off that Trunk Notes is exactly what I was looking for. I had gotten to the point where I had registered as an Apple Developer to write something when I found this. Now I don't think I'll need to. Thanks.

Several people have already pointed out the fact that tracking actions is wonderful with @action, but after an action is completed there's some manual work to go back and change an action to @done or whatever. A few other people have pointed out that the check box could be a whole lot handier than it is.

I would like to propose a change to the {{check}} functionality that might answer both of these things. Why not extend {{check}} like this:
{{check "Check box text", <action when not checked>, <action when checked>}}
This way, I could have {{check, "Call HR about FTP",@HRTodo,@HRCompleted}}
bonus points if {{check}} could remember when it was checked, and somehow display that information.

Another thing I'd like to see is the ability to hide @actions when not editing. This would make the reading view pretty clean. Perhaps an option onscreen to show/hide actions. Hidden actions could be denoted by a small colored square in place of the action text. This might come naturally from implementing the {{check}} idea above.

How about allowing the use of color in text without having to resort to using HTML to get it?

Please update the search functionality so that when you search for text and you get a list of entries that contain that text, you have the ability to see where that text is in each of the documents returned in the list. Please also allow for searching of text within an entry while you're reading that entry.

Also, I love how {{action}} provides a link to the document containing each action. It would be very useful if selecting that link takes you to the place in the document where the action can be found.

Finally, and I think this has been said but I'll reiterate, I'd love a bookmark in safari that would save the current web page as a wiki entry.

you can modify text color with a minimum of HTML/CSS:

Then just type blxx to go Blue Mode, etc.

Has there been any follow up or updates that provide the new check box functionality as proposed in this post? It is a feature I would like to see.
