Snippets
Typing on the iPhone and iPod Touch is fast! Trunk Notes makes it even faster!
Create "Snippets" to allow for super fast text entry.
In the example display on this page you can see I have a number of snippets.
If I want to insert the snippet Snippet:recipe in the current note all I do is type recipexx. The xx is called the execute text. Whenever you enter those two characters Trunk Notes will try and find a matching snippet.
There is nothing special about a Snippet. It is just a note where the name starts Snippet:.

- Set up a note with a template
- Include HTML or even hard to type characters
Snippets are made more powerful as you can tell Trunk Notes where to put the cursor once the Snippet has been inserted. For example the Snippet which contains the text {{**}} will insert {{}} and put the cursor between the brackets ready for you to start typing where you need to!
